ACA Home Page The American Cichlid Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to the knowledge and enjoyment of cichlid fishes.
The ACA strives to:
* Gather, organize and disseminate knowledge of the family Cichlidae
* Further the conservation of cichlids and their natural habitats
* Promote fellowship among cichlid hobbyists

GCCA The Greater Chicago Cichlid Association — GCCA — is a not-for-profit, educational organization, chartered in the state of Illinois, dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of information relating to the biology of the fishes in the family Cichlidae, with particular emphasis on maintenance and breeding in captivity. We are simply cichlid hobbyists who love cichlids.

MAS The Minnesota Aquarium Society (MAS) is an incorporated, non-profit organization of tropical fish enthusiasts that was established in the 1930s. From beginner to advanced hobbyists, store owners and breeders, there are over 175 current members, making it one of the largest aquarium societies in the country. Everyone is welcome to attend a meeting to find out what it is like.

The GSG is at work trying to bring together any and all known information on this genus and support the further development of this genus through descriptions and other scientific papers.
