Default Need help with ID!!!

I've tried a few places now and I've gotten no luck, I got this guy a few weeks ago and I forgot the name of it, I think it's a new world cichlid but not 100% sure. Its still Juvenile now but I saw a few adults when I bought this guy and they were good sized, about 8" or so, and all orange on their heads, almost till their pectoral fins and white with some black/grey splotches here and there on the rest of their bodies. I'm pretty sure it's not any sort of hybrid because the guy I get all of my fish from doesn't like selling hybrids.

All I have to help is some scribbled down name from the guy I got it from, I think it says Catamango and in parenthesis it says Conreli or something like that, it's really hard to read and I get ABSOLUTELY nothing when I type it in google, not ever some weird results or anything!! I would have gone back and asked him but He's out of town for a few weeks.

Here are some pics.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

That is a Marbled form of Paratheraps fenestratus, which is found in the wild in Lake Catemaco in Mexico. I know that a selectively bred line is somewhat available in Australia for some reason, but I've not heard of a lot of them elsewhere.

Or, it is a hybrid of some sort, though I think the "catamango" is close enough to Lake Catemaco to suggest that someone knew what it was at one time. Another lesson on why labels should always be typed, and spelling triple checked!

Awesome! That looks exactly like the adult ones I saw. Thanks a bunch! I'm not sure if it say's "Catamango" or "Catemaco" on the card It's literally chicken scratch, lol. I could ask him if they're hybrid or not or where he got them from since they're rare in the states. But the guy I get my fish from has been in the buisness for EVER, my dad got his fish from him before I was even born so I'm sure he has some pretty good connections being in the business for so long. But thank's a bunch. I wen't to about 3 forums and asked and you're the first to reply so Kudos to you!

I agree with Chromedome. Conreli was probably "Conkeli", which is an incorrect synonym (sort of) for the Paratheraps fenestrata strain from Lago Catemaco. Very cool fish if you ask me. Extremely beautiful as adults, no two of mine were ever colored the same. Very aggressive though. In my experiance a 125g (6ft) aquarium wasn't large enough for a young pair.
