    Default Some new recent plecos

I've been finding myself getting more and more into plecos lately. Mainly the less common ones that you don't see every day. Picked up a few new ones over the past couple weeks. An L226(Panaqolus changae) L177(gold nugget) and L200(Green Phantom). The 226 and 177 are about 4.5" and the 200 is close to 6".

Nice looking plecos. I also have the P. changae and Gold nuggets. Don't have room for the L200.

Be sure you have lots of wood for the P. changae. They are voracious wood eaters.

Yeah there's quite a bit of wood in that tank for him. He's a real hider too. The Nugget and Phantom are pretty much out a great deal of the time, but the P. changae I think I have seen maybe 3 times in the past 10 days, he likes to hide a lot.

I got mine from a place in WI that a buddy turned me on to. Their prices are really good and they don't overcharge on shipping at all. I paid $35 for the Nugget and I think it was $40 for the Phantom, then overnight shipping Fed Ex was only $34 so not too bad at all. If you want the name of the place let me know and I'll shoot you a link, they have just about every type of pleco you can imagine. If I had the money I could easily spend a couple grand with them lol
