    I can't believe it I have a male coloring up already! Very surprised, he's only 1 1/4-1 1/2" long. Hard to get a good pic, but this one shows his colors pretty well.

    Thanks guys. I'm just so surprised to see color, I've only had them two months, and they were very small when I got them.

    Update: almost six months old. Have one dominant male that has colored up nicely. He is about 2 1/4-2 1/2" long. Would you believe I saw a female holding today already? She is less than 2" long. I have about 10 vics left in a 20 gal with some yellow labs, I have given away or sold the rest. Anyway here's a couple pics. Now tell me what he is.

    Well I'm certainly not the Vic expert on this site, but I'll say that is one stunning fish!


    Congrats on how he turned out, and good job helping him get there.

    Thanks dogwalker. I'm no expert either, this being my first round of victorians. But I think he turned out pretty good too!

    Yes Merth that is a nice looking fish. I have a lone male in my 90 with assorted mbunas and he occasssionally colors up really we.
