Thread: My dovii setup.

  1. Default My dovii setup.

Hey guys this is my dovii setup. I live I Melbourne Australia n iv been keeping cichlids for about 5 years I started with africans n in the 2 months ago I decided to go American. So I striped down my tank to the glass bottom. Brought some driftwood boiled it n soked it. I got a Oscar to keep it cycled. So I was trying to make a discussion on what I wanted to keep. I rounded it down to umbees or dovii. When I finally made up my mind. I started looking. I wanted to get juvis so I can watch them grow. I searched n searched but could not find anything. Then I went in to this scumy lookin aquarium near where I work. They had the most beautiful young pair of dovii. The male is 27cm and the female is 23cm. So I got them. The guy at the aquarium said he had grown them up from juvilies. He said they have spawned twice already. I was so happy to find them n lucky. Here r some pics of my old Malawi n tropheus setups.

Clayton your tanks are rather amazing. You really took the time to design them in a fashion that is both aesthetically pleasing and a great environment for the fish. Excellent work and thank you for sharing.
The photocontest, like everything else is behind schedule. You get some links back today.
