Default Can anyone take a guess?

I swore I would never get any cichlids from the assorted at the lfs but my son had to have em. Bought 2 of them. 1 blue guy. Now the brownish orange blaze one changes his brightness almost instantly. Can go from a yellow with dark brown vertical stripes to mostly brown. His dorsal stays the same orange tho. My first instinct with these are that they are probably hybrids and I'll never come close to knowing. Figure it's atleast worth a shot.
