Hey everyone,
Just wanted some advice on stocking my new tank.
Currently I have a 120L aquarium with 1 electric yellow, 1 tropheus dubiosi, 1 melanochromis maingano, 1 red tailed shark and 5 clown loaches. running a small powerhead and a fluval 305 for filtration.
I was lucky enough to get a approx 400L (100G) tank for free off a family member, it is slightly under 5ft long, and around 20" wide and high.
Im planning on moving all my fish into the new tank, however I would like to add some more africans into the tank. I had been considering either trewavasae or fuelleborni, however im not sure whether they would be too aggressive for the other tank mates. Ive since been thinking about getting a couple of Zebra obliquidens? too get the upper regions of the tank a bit more active. I had considered a venustus but I think he might get a bit too big.
So in a sentance, would the trewavasae/fuelleborni/zebra obliquidens (possibly called crimson something in the us) be compatible with my tropheus dubiosi and my clown loaches?
All my fish except 2 of the loaches are at least 8cm, the largest being the 'papa loach' who is close to 20cm. the dubiosi is getting close to 10cm and adult colouration if thats of any importance. Ive been keeping these all together for about a year now, so still a novice somewhat.
Thanks in advance.
