    My aulonocaras are ~3-4 inches now, have grown very slowly, and still have coloration very similar to yours. I'm almost positive at least one of them is a male. I think they just don't have the opportunity to be dominant in my tank as it's currently set up.

    THIS WAS AN AMAZING JOURNEY!!! i have so enjoyed this thread.. the photos are so beautifull!! Thank you for sharing this. ive learned alot reading thru out this forum but i must admitt .. I love the pictures in them the best.. like this thread!!

    I have 3 juveniles, which look the same now and I'm hoping for 1 male and 2 females. Will see as time goes by, which one is which.

    Nice vid lol. What kind of hose system are you using there? I need something like that so im not always moving my rocks to clean around them.

    That video is very old

    It's a simple, plastic garden hose, nothing special.

    suck on one end and let it drain in a bucket that is lower then the fish tank just like syphoning gas out of your parents car when you were a teenager hahaha would be my guess! This is how i do water changes too

    For that, I would need a HUGE bucket, about 90G )

    I do suck at one end, but the hose's end goes into the bathroom, pointing at the draining hole.

    hahaha i forgot you have a 185gal mine is 55gal and all i do is 15 gal a week with a short hose or my syphon every other week
