Question about Zebra Chilumba and Aulonocara Eureka:

At what size do they begin to color up?

They are around 2 inches now.

My aulonocaras are ~3-4 inches now, have grown very slowly, and still have coloration very similar to yours. I'm almost positive at least one of them is a male. I think they just don't have the opportunity to be dominant in my tank as it's currently set up.

I have 3 juveniles, which look the same now and I'm hoping for 1 male and 2 females. Will see as time goes by, which one is which.

suck on one end and let it drain in a bucket that is lower then the fish tank just like syphoning gas out of your parents car when you were a teenager hahaha would be my guess! This is how i do water changes too

For that, I would need a HUGE bucket, about 90G )

I do suck at one end, but the hose's end goes into the bathroom, pointing at the draining hole.

hahaha i forgot you have a 185gal mine is 55gal and all i do is 15 gal a week with a short hose or my syphon every other week
