    Default Paratheraps sp "Coatzacoalcos"

Well, the last year in april I went to Oaxaca México and I captured this guys, at first time I thought they was Vieja Regani, but now I know that they are Paratheraps sp. Coatzacoalcos, I caught them in River Almoloya, 2 or 3 km far away from Matias Romero Oaxaca.

I would like to put all my photos of them since I captured them until now that they have been parents.

Here is one of them in my hand

Here a some photos of the habitad

Here they were in my tank in Mexico City

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Right now I have a couple and recently they have been parents and have approximately 40 new Paratheraps sp "Coatzacoalcos"

Here we can see the female taking care of small eggs and the beautiful male helping to take care and keep out intruders

Wow! Those are gorgeous fish! I love all the yellow. Is that all spawning dress?
