Not sure how to make them more visable. Maybe my camera is the problem.

Let me know what you think.

Nice looking tank. It looks really good where you put it. I hope you keep us updated. Good luck!

How do you paint the back? With a roller? I would imagine you'd need a couple of coats?

I see the guys at King Ed spray painting the backs. I like to change mine all the time, but have enjoyed the black lately. Makes it look like it goes forever.

I always use spray paint to paint backs since I can lay a thinner coat making it easier to scrape off later if need be. I use a flat black Krylon....

I just used a flat paint enamel from home depot and used a roller to put it on. It only took 2 coats and I know it is going to come off easy if I want to change the back because I went to go scrape some pain off the black pastic part and accidently scratched the glass and a huge chunk of paint came off. LOL it was funny.

I don't think there is a wrong way....

Remember to cover the tank while spray painting....

Exactly I don't think there is a wrong way. I am really excited how it came out. My next project with it is going to be making some PVC caves and some other decor. This is actually the first time that I am getting really hands on with the making and design. I used to just buy all the stuff. I want to make a rockscape but I am definatly clueless when it comes to that and wish I had someone on MI that I could have help with it.

Sorry about no update I am in a stupid holding pattern all because where I want to put the tank I have to replace the carpeting with Hard Wood floors and they are not moving to quickly. And to make it even more fun I have to move my 55g to swap out for the 90 so my fish have to go in a rubbermaid container for the weekend so we can move the tank, then do the floor underneith the tank and then move the new tank in place and get it all ready to go. LOL this will be fun. The only problem I think I am going to have which is going to be fun is to keep the cats out of the damn container that is going to be sitting on the floor with the fish in it.

Ok I know it has been to long but it is finally up and running.

I can't believe it has taken so long. I know it is missing a bunch of rock and caves but I am trying to get that. I am hoping to transfer the fish over tomorrow and just use some of the other stuff that I have in the house in the meantime.

    Here it is......
