Default cleaning a filthy salt water tank for fresh water

My sister just got a 75 gallon fish tank for 75 bucks. Great deal, except they can't get it clean now. It was used for salt water, and they can't get it clean. They were thinking about using CLR, but how safe is this for fish?? It won't be set up for at least a week from now.. but really need to know how to get it clean. A response asap would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys...

don;t think a little salt ever hurt anything.

razor blade seems to be the safest way (glass tanks)

I would skip the clr, if you need to get chemically try vinegar or lemon juice.
