Take a trip to Sea World and go into the freshwater section . . . . You will come out with more ideas than you ever imagined.

    The man's thinking about a 350g, not a 3500g.

Leave the monsters alone and focus on 8-16" fish.

I don't want gigantic monsters. Something on the line of 14inchers when they are full grown. Don't want peacock bass because they aren't my cup of tea. Oscar and and a tex and maybe a dovii? Or would that not be enough room?

OO, or maybe some type of large pike cich.

Personally, I say that you would have the room for a Dovii, but not enough room to keep him from possibly killing all other tankmates. If you really want a Dovii, the entire tank needs to be centered around that fish.

Other wise, I think you could easily house 6-7 large cichlids. Oscars and Texas cichlids are very common, but if thats what you like, I think you could have a pair of each and then a few more fish. Maybe those pikes you were talking about.

    Good luck
