100% positive in my answer and yes that fish commonly goes by the name chocolate cichlid, but the Hypselecara temporalis is also known as a chocolate cichlid.

Great!!! Thanks for responding!!! I'm planing to convert my "South American tank" to an "African Tank" and I couldn't trade in the Chocholate until I knew what it was. So you've really helped me out alot.

Second, Third, & Fourth Opinions are still welcomed!

This next pic is the closest match that I've been able to fnd on the net.

I'm pretty sure that is a coryphanoides, but I wouldnt rule out temporalis completely. I'm 67/33% in favor of coryphanoides, but they're hard to come by. If you have one you'd probably remember paying for it through the nose, whereas temporalis are common and inexpensive. Stress /fright coloration on a temporalis can fade out to that washed out look. Can you get a pic of it "happy"?
