Thread: can my frontosia survive with my africans?

    Default can my frontosia survive with my africans?

    I have a 12 inch oscar and an 8 inch oscar in with my africans, i recently recued a 3-4 in frontosia, can he live with my big cichlid? if not can O put him in with my baby cichlids? the big ones are in a 135 the little ones are in a 55.

    It would not be ideal because they need different water parameters and you wouldn't want the oscars picking on him b/c he's much smaller. I wouldn't put him with babies, they are carnivores in the wild and eat small fish. Seeing as how he's a rescue I would give what you feel comfortable with a try and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well remove him and give him away.
