    Question mini cycle

okay here's the deal I have 2 tanks that have been running for about a year yesterday I made some DIY caves for my africans now today the water is cloudy in both tanks is this the result of bacteria growing on the new decorations (mini cycle) or something more should I be worried or is this normal Thanks

Doesn't sound normal to me. What are the DIY caves made from?

I used aquarium safe silicone to cover clay pots with gravel

Hmmm were they like the orange terracotta pots?

And how long did you cure the caves?

Well the terracotta will leech a bit of color into the water, but after 24 hours silicone should be done gassing off.

What are all of your parameters?
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH, Gh, and Kh?

Where'd you get the gravel and are you fish reacting?
