Q:  How often should I feed my cichlids?

 A:  This depends on the specific species, but  as a general rule adults should be fed 1-2 times a day, juveniles 2-3 times per day, and fry 3-4 times per day.

Q:  How do I know how much food to give them each time I feed?

A:  This will also depend on the species, but you should only feed enough food for it ALL to be consumed within about 30 seconds.  Cichlids are good at begging for food, be resistant to their demands!  Very small multiple meals are much healthier for your fish than a single large daily feeding.
