i was wondering if anyone here keeps carnivorous plants? i have a friend that does and i've been kinda inspired to try one. anybody have any advice/how to/ links?

so... nobody cares about plants EH? well, i went to Lowe's and got some (in the plant world, that's like going to petco or walmart to buy fish). i got a small venus fly trap and a neat little red pitcher plant both for 11 bucks :D i'll post pics as soon as the batteries are done charging :D

i hade a few ( all veary dead now) and i think i heard that they dont realy need the meat if ther is plenty of sun so dont wory about "feeding it" and i know they are from the rain forest so dont let it get dry

they aren't from the rain forest.... venus fly traps are from the carolinas in america, and that is the only place they grow

How large do the pitchers get, anyways?
all nice discussion. I'm curious to know that whether these plant can be kept as house plant(common).
It seems to be very strange. They grow where the deficiency of the nitrogen. These plant hunt the aunts and
other insects. Can you afford them at home?? :D
