8) Hello everyone.....been registered for just a little while, thought I would surf the forum and get a feel for it and wanted to let everyone know that this is the best Cichlid Forum I've seen since searching the net.....I really mean that......replies to posts are very informative.....
I am a total do-it-yourselfer when I can and have plenty of suggestions from technical lighting applications in canopies to substrates(by the way, my very next post after I introduce myself a little more is for a sand substrate......you wont be disappointed).
Anyways, a little about myself:
I have been an avid hobbyist for nearly 15 years and my most recent fish inhabitants(for over 2 years and still growing strong), are my Tanganyikan Cichlids. I've raised everything from turtles to newts and salamanders, cray-fish, fish and a few rodents even.....oh yeah, helping my better half raise birds.....Like I said, I am always looking everywhere for something to build or install into my aquarium......always looking to save money when-ever I can.
Plenty of suggestions for all the other do-it-yourselfers who like saving money.......
Thats is for now, and I hope to get to know everyone soon.
