I want to keep a pair of fish in my office 29 gallon tank. I need something that will breed often and in large numbers. Furthermore, I would prefer they be fairly low maintenance, particularly when it comes to raising the young. At the same time, I would like these fish to be attractive, as this is my office tank. I will be breeding them to feed to my managuense at home. I know convicts are the obvious choice, but I want something that is a little nicer looking if possible. Convicts just aren't that attractive as far as I'm concerned. Any ideas?

Astatheros altifrons. They are small (4-5"), unsual, uncommon, and jsut plain cool.

Or maybe one of the lesser known Thorichthys if you like them better (althought the altifrons is very much like a Thorichthys).
