What paint can I use inside my aquarium? Where can I find it?

I wouldn't trust any paint. I painted my tank on the outside using engine paint.

There has got to be something that i can use. What do they paint the tank ornaments with?
Look for epoxy marked as "baby safe" (for painting bath tubs, etc.).

I checked at home depot and the dude said that he doesnt carry anything he can sell as baby safe. Any ideas on a manufacturer or online distributer?
It would say it on the label. It's not a brand name or in a product name. Go to aquaticecosystems.com. They sell similar stuff.

Krylon is aquarium safe. Plain old spray can Krylon but I have only used flat black to hide filter tubes against a black background. I have about 3 years of professional experience as an aquarist in private business and at SeaWorld so this is backed up with a lot of practice.

If you are using it in a plywood tank, you want something that is not only safe, but will seal in the water. I'd look for the 2 part epoxy, although the Krylon deal is good to know - thanks r6racer.
