i bought some tiger barbs a week ago from a great lfs, and one of them is looking quite plump! not sure if it is preggo or not, could just be fat from food, but i'll let you see for yourselves...they're not the best quality pics because they just wont stop moving!

barbs always look really budgie to me,exspecially after a meal,those little suckers can eat alot.

the females are usually plump looking while the males are thinner and more brightly colored.tiger barbs are egg layers.:)

yea my guys eat TONS!! i've got 9 of them (though one of them came a little beat up and 'dies' now and then), so i put in quite a bit of food because i also have a weather loach and he goes crazy for flake and blood worms! maybe i had caught them before there food exited...hehe!
