ok, you guys...try not to kill yourselves laughing at my pics! :evil: and don't ask me to link to it either...i'm frustrated and i'm going to bed!

Not a chance in the whole world that we are going to let you off the hook, Gypsy. My first pics were terrible too. Blurry fish with fins clamped as they swim away from me in the dark. Keep playing with the tank lighting and the camera settings and you'll be surprised how fast you improve no matter how cheap the camera is.

thanks guys--i can see a lot of frustration ahead. i'm hoping that i'll learn so much from struggling with this $40 camera, that when i can get a real one, i'll already be a whiz!

I started out with a $60 camera and what I learned was that $300 is a good deal to end the frustration. Good effort SGM. :D

yeah--i'm a new yawka, born and raised, specifically in queens! 8) honestly, i did not put all of those fish in the tank--they just appeared! thanks for adding the link. :wink:

I've seen this before...I did'nt realize this was you.... Your fish are beautiful...The fish in pic #93 and #94??? What are they...Tha\ey are great...I'd love to get my hands on a couple....Man you've got a lot of fish.....You must change your water more often then my toilet...LOL...Just kidding...Your fish rock....

thanks a lot! :) that fish is a labeotropheus fuelleborni male. the photo doesn't do him justice...he is ice blue with an orange dorsal.
