None that I know of, but I'm not in the cusp of civilization or anything... North-central Lower Peninsula.

Oh, except for this place:

They only sell native fish though.

I found a great breeder at http://www.commonwealth.net/bob
Just picked up some mpimbwe fronts and lithobates. Great guy and he personally delivered them on a trip he was taking to chicago

I just showed that site to my co-worker, and he used to buy fish from that guy for his shop as well!

One of the absolute best breeders hands down in michigan is John and Betty Oyer in Brighton Michigan. These folks have around 400 tanks of African Cichlids from Tanganyika, Malawi and victorian and a few south/central american items also. They breed catfish, plecos and rainbows. They have about every varient of Frontosa you can think of. To top it all off the prices are cheap. John and Betty have always been great to me and have been mentors and role models to me in the hobby. They always take care of me and answer all of my questions. The fish are awesome quality. I have a zaire blue frontosa and some F1 yellow labs from them that are awesome! Great folks that are not only good friends but also a great source of Arfican cichlids. You can e-mail them at Jeofish@aol.com or call them at 810-229-2122

great breeders with great prices and they are great people. Check them out you won't be dissapointed.

I wanted to update in this forum as I now am officially full time in the fish business breeding and distributing RARE African cichlids. I'm in the Grand Rapids, MI area and delivery is available. Special orders are welcome and encouraged and I can get just about any cichlid you are looking for! Also, I'm always looking for new bloodlines for my Victorian breeding groups and I'm buying and trading for pure species. Thanks!
