I absolutely love this fish. They really geta bad wrap to say they lay there all day and don't move. I have had him a short time and he is constantly begging and swimming around. Yesterday he had a piece of beef heart in his mouth so big that he couldn't swallow it. He kept it in his mouth all day and then dropped it at the front of the tank and sat there looking at it. It was like he was saying why did you give me this piece??

Actually that is funny you mention that as when I worked at a fish store when I was young was my first experience with them. The owner apparently thought it would be funny to get the 11 year old volunteer to see if the big sausage was alive.

Fricken hurt...

That is too funny! I'm assuming you were the 11 year old volunteer... ANd you still like catfish after that huh?

The store owner let me work for reptiles and fish.

If I kept what I had I would be a millionaire. The store owner used to say. They would have these oddball things that nobody wanted to buy, and then I would come in. I had reptiles that are very rare to find anymore.

I am still like that. If its an oddball, chances are I want it. Only problem is my wife probably doesn't.

Is this where I say back in the good old days and feel really old?

Try "depends" when you read the forums...

Few more experiences with the Ecat and maybe they would come in handy!
