Ligthing problems.

On my 187 gallon I have a canopy with 4 36 inch flourescent bulbs. Two of them have burned out so I went to replace them. I purchased 2 daylight 36 inch t12 from revy. When I put them in and turned it on the lights were flickering which drew me to the conclusion that the canopy was built with electronic ballasts as the original lights were Sylvania quick start bulbs. I cannot for the life of me find these things anywhere. I really don't want to spend $30-40 a bulb at the LFS. Does anyone know another bulb that I could use. It seems that 36 inch is a bit hard to find in anything but daylight and cool white bulbs. Suggestions??

That is where I was at actually CJ. All they had was t12 daylight bulbs, or cool white t8s. I ended up finding then at Petsmart for 10.99 so that wasn't bad. It just cost me $25 in gas trying to find them.. :shock:
