okay, so i have this digicam and it takes two AA batteries, and it didn't come with a charger or anything like that. does anyone else have the problem where the batteries last like 10 shots and then cut off????

i swear i put in fresh duracells and the cam is on for like 5 minutes... is there a better battery i should be using or what????

That is strange. Get some rechargables. But still you arent being able to use that long enough. Call them up there may be a short or something wrong with it that is using up so much battery.

What camera is it? The one I have has a rechargable pack that is made special for that brand/model of camera.

you cannot use normal batteries, use rechargable made for digital, or alkaline ones.

I went to Radio Shack and purchased some top end rechargable batteries (check your camera manual for the type your camera uses) and a charger. Think I spent about $40 but it is worth every penny spent.

its a vivitar 3.3 megapxel i got from target. it was only $80 bucks at chistmas time. i thought that was a good deal.... but its got shatty craftsmanship and i'm a bit disappointed with it. oh well.... my mom bought it for me... maybe i can go over to her house and convince he to buy me some good batteries for it >=)

Punky,

Try doing a search online for lithium ion batteries for your camera. The manufacturer may have that as an option and despite thier cost, that is the way to go. If not then Nickle Metal Hydride is the next step and from therew standard rechargables.
