WOW that little guy really is NICE. I hope my little Otter point males look like him(colorful) when they reach that size. I had a show quality Male Eureaka Jake but sadly he got sick and died luckly I didn't loose any other fish. I couldn't find another as colorful as him so I found a Otter point pair and the male was stunning. :)

BUT wow 1.75in and that colorful already is something to be happy about. If you've looked at my pic the Yellow Maleri is about that size he's my little pride and joy it's amazing how colorful some lil guys can get at such a small size.

Thanks Jennifer, yeah peacocks are a lot of fun to keep/breed...

Sorry to hear about your Eureaka :( But those Otter Points are cool, I've read that the Eureakas are just selectively bred Otter Points...and from the looks of it, it's quite possible...

Getting such nice color at an early age makes those daily fry water changes worth it...

It sure does Seedy:D As much of a pain as it can be sometimes its a real reward when you wake up one day and go to feed you fish and all of a sudden your dull brown fish has all this wonderful color:) Great feeling makes you know you're doing something right.

Oddly enough, ever since I pulled him from the brood, he has lived with calvus and multis....I got that color sans females...

I'm thinking it's about time he got his own little harem...

WHOA! Seedy - this guy is beautiful! I know how you must feel watching this little guy develop into such a colorful perfectly developed specimen. Makes all you efforts (water changes, chemical balancing acts, etc) worth it!
Keep it up and keep us posted on his progress.

Thanks, again!
