This is are new edition to our big tank he is our Diamont pleco ( or at least that's what they called him) I do know that he is a L-039. He is so cool:cool:

Nice one, I like the Vampire plecos too. SImliar looking to yours. A wholesaler in Chicago carries alot of the somewhat rarer plecos. Quite a few black and white dotted ones. Snowballs are pretty cool too. I get to ride up with a friend that goes there to restock his shop, fun to see what all they have in. They get some pretty cool Angelicus synodontis too.

That would be cool to see what they stock and stuff. I have to go out of town to get all my fish as the place I live in really knows nothing about cichlids so there over priced, and not very nice plus I think alot of them are hybrids:( But the place I got to always has rare and cool stuff so it's always worth the drive :)

i want to get this pleco for my tank has yours been having any problems i was told that i should not get him because he will be killed by the africans i need some advice should i get him and where can i order him from online

I have mine with all my cichlids and he's been fine. Then again my guys are all pretty docile and not aggressive. I have Aul. Proto. Capbido. Neolamp. Altolamps. so maybe thats why I wouldn't put him in with Mbuna species. He is a shy guy so if your fish are well manored then I'd say its ok. As where to get him I haven't the foggiest I kinda lucked out with my LFS as they had brought him in apperantly he is a rare species and well quite pricey too:( But I wish you luck on getting one:) Try Amkes rare cichlids they may have one. Hummm sorry I can't really help you. But thanks for taking interest in my fella:)

we are sooo into plecos. we have alot of them... but they do require alot of tank cleaning though. poopie boys that they are! LOL

our latest additions are a royal pleco and a gold nugget. very very nice lookin'!
