this is my 1.5-2in male Aulonocara Maleri I went camping for a week and when I cam home I found that my once ugly brown Maleri that I thought was a female had got his color. WOW I think he'll be show quality. The guy I bought him from told me that it was high quality fish I believe him now.

Nice fish Jennifer, but you might want to do a little research on this one. It does not look like a pure nyererei to me. The "face" has the look of a Hap #44.

Thanks you all so much for your compliments:)
Kevin I will do just that:) I was told that he was a pund. Nyererei from the LFS (which is very reputable but hey everyone makes mistakes) He isn't fully colored yet as he is only about 3in or so but yes I will look into it. :)
I would love to try at the photo contest see you all there!

Thanks WorldNation! The tank it's self cost $800 ca and the stand was $300 can. We use Rena Filstar XP3 and we have 2 of them they are awesome filters they keep the water cystal clear. The rock we got from a Land scaping company and $70 for 240lbs. and the silica sand we got for free as my dad works for a fracing company. The lighting we use is 2 full spectrums and 1 Attinic blue. We preform a 25% water change every week. I have 1 female bristlenose pleco and 1 L-039 Diamont Pleco. They keep it free of Algae I haven't had to clean the glass since I set up that tank which was about 5-6 months ago. Feel free to ask me any questions:)
Kevin and anyone else that noticed YOUR all right my supposed Pundamilia nyererei is NoT a Nyererei He is a Hap sp. #44 I looked up some pictures on Google and well there was a few pictures of the hap #44 that looks exactly like my ONCE so called Nyererei lol. I wanted a nyererei and thought that my guy was just not finished coloring yet but he's deffenatly a hap #44. lol. Oh well he's still one of my fav's.
