Oh, yeah, right. Most of the people here probably can't here the stereo over the sound of the 842 filters they have running!

i can never hear the doorbell because of all the bubbling and splashing...sometimes when i'm expecting live fish deliveries, i spend all day running up and down the basement steps to see if there's a fedex/ups/dhl/airborne/usps delivery truck out front...

  some people might think their crap. Others think they are the best band ever. They are a three piece indie band from Idaho. A mix between uhmmm.... Captain Beefheart and Grunge.

Sgypsymermaid- I hear you! The only musical captain I've ever heard of is "Captain and Tennielle" and grunge is what I rinse out of my filter pads

No offense anyone both kids listen to crap, and at birthdays and christmas I buy them crap cd's and speakers, amps, etc... to make their crap louder
I listen to grunge now and again, I don't know Captain Beefheart though.
Like Scotty said I only know Captain and Tenille.

The older I get, the less it matters. :(

The last concert I went to was Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers over 10 years ago, but I mostly listen to the radio now while driving back and forth to work. I'll listen to NPR, classic country, rock, rap or what ever's coming in clear. The last couple of tapes I listened to were Beatles "one" and the Tragically Hip "Up to Here".

I'd probably buy CDs more often except my truck's broke down and it's the only vehicle with a decent stereo (cd changer and 400w amp). I needed 400w to hear over the 460 under the hood.

I only have a CD player in the truck. :(

My old Lincoln has an okay stereo, but it only has a tape deck. :(

Sweet!!!

We took a 2000 mile roundtrip to Idaho when I was 12. The radio didn't work and the only 8 track we had was Ted Nugent's "Double Live Gonzo". I can't think of any of the song's without the pauses between tracks. :)

It cured me of any interest in hearing Ted Nugent again as well.

SGypsyMermaid

sure--as soon as i figure out how to record! i do have mp3's of babbling brooks, rivers, ocean, etc. funny thing is, one of my insignificant others heard me playing one of those mp3's and looked at me with a wary eye and asked, "why are you playing that?--are you stressed?", and he looked poised to bolt out the door! imagine that.
