Hi, I'm so excited, my golden bristlies have had lots of eggs, I moved them from my cichlid tank about 3 days ago and this morning he is fanning lots of litle orange eggs. What should I do now?? I have a cycled 2 foot tank with goldfish in at the mo which can be moved to put him in. I thought of moving him by placing the pot (with him in it so as not to disturb him)into an ice cream container or I thought of moving the other fish into the 2 ft tank, there are 2 cherry barbs, 2 platy fry the female bristlie and 3 danios. I'm soooo excited.
Please can you give me advice. I thought of what to do when they had babies but now its just panic .
Thanks
Julie

I just wait till I see the little ones in the claypot and then pull the pot and flush them out into a bucket or growout tank.
A few may get picked off by others but not many if you keep a close eye on them.

I have put the other fish into a tank and left him in there with the eggs. I didn't want to disturb him and the others were easy enough to remove. I'm worried about feeding him, what do I do? How long will the eggs take to hatch?

Thanks
