juvinal fish identification.

hi, i'm a new cichlid owner and i was wondering if anybody knew what kind of cichlid this guy is, and if they could tell me any information about them. Also.. i've been thinking of makeing homemade fish food for my babies (or not so babies), and i've found a recipe on-line called "The European Shrimp Mix" i was wondering if anybody has used this and gotten good results.

it looks to me like some sort of hap from lake malawi--but i can't tell which.

it's not that the photo is bad...photo is very clear, but it is difficult, if not impossible to identify juvenile haps.

hmm, we have those compressiceps baby's at our work, the look exactly like that, except for the coloration.

The photo does look a lot like my last batch of Sciaenochromis fryeri, but most haps do look alike at first.

i should have more pics of these fish (i have three of them, all the same) this weekend or so. hopefully they will show them better. This little guy doesn't always so those black spots either, somtimes he looks more striped. thanks for you're help so far :)
