Here's my young breeder Eureaka...He just keeps getting prettier...
The story behind him is that I went into my LFS to get a breeding colony of peacocks...I was only going to start with 1m and 3females....the brightest colored juvie in the tank was one eye, and as the name implies, he has physical damage to one of his eyes....So pointing him out to the LFS owner's spouse (who had allready noticed him) she offered him to me for free....well, as we went to scoop him out he made a leap to the tile floor, from the top tank tier...I scooped him up and threw him in the bag figureing "what the heck...he's a freebie"...Needless to say, he is now the best colored male out of the batch I bought...so he is now my breeder...Considering that he is still coloring up, I'm quite pleased with him, and his offspring are tending to be "early color-uppers" as well!
