I'm so excited, guess what I got today?!

We went to petsmart today and had to,of course, stop in the fish aisle-always a bad move-and there were baby Bichir's! They are about 1.5-2" and were only $4.49 ea. So we got 2!
I started begging the bf like a kid in the candy store! I had to beg because I come home every other week w/ something and he was just complaining last night on how i'm taking over all of the tanks:rolleyes:
LOL! It's true-i'm outta control!
So they are in the 20 gal. grow out tank and the huge baby pacu and the fem. jelly bean that were in there went into the 55.

Yeah Petsmart is dangerous for me anyhow since we have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 fish tanks and 2 turtles! I go on this other forum and alot of of people have them and post pics all the time and i've been admiring them. So it's all their fault!

The other cool thing is the female jelly bean I bought about 3 weeks ago for my male jb, when I put her in the 55 she immediately paired up w/ the male and now they are diggin up gravel and keeping everyone away from that area.............

Gerat new pick up as long you dont intend on breeding for sale as from pets mart they are not likley f0 or f1

What do you you by f0 or f1, doesn;t that have to do w/ if they are wild caught or not?

As for the jelly beans they are not dyed. I won't buy dyed fish either.

f0 is wild caught.i think f1 is the spawn of wild caught that have been tank raised.cool pick up muffinwitch.

Thanks for the info! I thought it was a good pick up too. We bought 2 because they were a good price and in case 1 didn't make it we would have one at least.
