Picked up some fish but

The I.D. tag on the tank said jelly bean cichlids.
I cant find any cichlid listed by that name.
That are white, almost see through. (they are young not quite an inch long)
One has a greenish colored stripe down its back and the other has a purple to pink color. The one I didnt buy was orange striped.
They have pretty much the same body shape as my Dempsey, just a little "taller"
Is jelly bean a nickname or is this thier real name. It looks nothing like a jelly bean tetra.

I would take that back to petcetera. I have seen these guys sold there. Here is a link. I think it is wrong to sell these guys as cichlids, they are not. (I am a one to talk I have a flowerhorn) Anyway here is a link. Read about the dying method and you will have a change of heart.

The colors attracted me to them as well. I like em, the kids like em so I am gonna keep em.
I have since added an electric blue and electric yellow and an albino (convict is what they said). All the fish seem to get along cept the blue. Hes a mean little bugger.

i hate that people color fish with dyes or inks. it always fades, and shortens the life span of the fish. seems altogether cruel to me.
