My bully finally got his. And good (or bad you might say). I've got him isolated in a bully/bullied/preggo fish separator but I need to know if there's anything else I can do for him or if he's looking pretty normal for a recuperating fish. He's quite a bit more active today than he was yesterday so I'm taking that as a good sign. Here are some pics of him that I took about ten minutes ago.

I have taken one of the plastic plants and moved it into the front of the separator and am draping a dark washcloth on the outside so he doesn't get stressed from having nowhere to hide.

Does he need any other medications and if so, are those medications okay to put in the tank? The separator has cutouts in the sides for water to flow through. I added some stress coat to the water yesterday.

I would just add some salt to the tank maybe 1tblsp every 5 or 10 gallons depending on scaless fish, or not. He will heal up. That is the funny thing with Mbuna throw him in a tank with weaker fish and he will get better really fast.

welcome back, boogleberry! i agree with rudy's prescription. if you've got some melafix, that will help those fins heal even faster.

Sadly, my Kenyi didn't make it. They did too much damage. At least he got to die in peace while separated from the others rather than spending his last moments swimming madly away or simply succumbing to the abuse. :?
