From a local fish store, I bought two African Cichlids that were labeled Malawi Chrysonatus.
They are blue with a white stripe on the top of their dorsal fins and white on the tops of their bodies extending from their mouths to their dorsal fins. (One of them also has white on top from the back end of the dorsal fin to the caudal fin. These fish are approximately 2-3 inches long. (See attached photo)
Since I can't find any information on Malawi Chrysonatus, I thought they may be Copadichromis chrysonotus.
Can you tell me if these are Copadichromis chrysonotus, and if not what you think they may be?
Thank you very much for your time,
Mike Grivich
