If I set an African tank up .Do you think it would be alright to put in my 2 PLECOS and a REDTAIL BLACK SHARK?

hmm, i dunno aboutt he shark. but i got an african tank set-up and my pleco is doing just fine

I have a 55g with africans in it and I have 2 plecos and 1 shark. They all do fine. The shark just eats the food that drifts down.

Chances are if your PH is at the required limits (for african cichlids 8.0) your shark will have issues living in that environment. However, Plecos seem pretty adaptable to this environment I have 3 in my tanks.

I wouldn't count on the sharks too much......It is best to keep a regional tank and even then you should check compatibility of your fish. Not to mention Cichlids are rather aggressive fish. Even if the fish don't get them the requirements Ph and Salinity of Afri-Cichlids will.

What Cichlids do you have?
