question about gold severums

i just got a pair of gold severums and i was told to feed these guys certain types of food to get them to have the really rad red spots on their bodies. what types of food produce these spots?

I don't know much about Sverums, so I'm not sure if it's even true that the spots will come out on all gold severums. But I do have a 3-4" Gold Severum in a 55g with a few Angels, Uaru, and a bunch of Bleekeri and V. regani fry. I feed lots of Spirulina flakes and pellets, along with some meaty foods like chopped oysters and shrimp. Nothing real specific, just the type of things I normally feed to all of my other cichlids. And this guy does have red spots.
