Ok.. Blue gravel is gone. I also hesitantly gave my 14" Pleco, Hyde, to my best friend who has a 120 gallon tank. He was a bit crowded in my 55 and the M. Auratus' and the Crabro's were literally trying to eat him. So, he's moved to a bigger tank with some other less-agressive tank-mates....
Anyway, here's the setup with the new substrate and rocks...

heheh... well, actually, I will do something about the background soon. It's rather difficult to paint it being that I'm in an apartment... that one's getting kinda old though, and ya can see the air bubbles in it.

Yeah, I had to. He was having a bit of trouble navigating in the tank... looked like he was a bit crowded. Also, I was affraid that he was going to cause a rockslide in my tank because he kept digging sand out from underneath them and as you can see those rocks are fairly large. And of course, the fact that a few of the fish seemed to think he was food for them. I couldn't let him get constantly nipped at and have little bites taken out of him.
He's in a 120 Gal. tank now with some dempsies. While they can be moody at times, they don't pay him much attention generally. He's got alot of room to swim around now.

UPDATE:
The tank is really coming along nicely... there is brown algae on the rocks, but in a few months time, that will take care of itself I think... The fish are loving all of the rocks, as it gives them lots of places to hide... and the bumblebee's have almost doubled in size since I got them in may.... amazing.
Sorry for the double post, but I figured since it's been a month, no harm done....
