He is about 6 inches, and starting to become to show his true aggresive attitude. He is in a 120 gallon with a jack dempsey, 2 convicts and a pleco (of course all of his tankmates days in that tank are probably numbered :) )

very nice:D yours actually looks like a pure trimac as well. do you know for sure if it is a 100% trimac? I know a lot of the lfs trimacs have been crossed with flowerhorns.

jason, I was actually waiting to see if anyone would fall into the trap of calling him a flowerhorn, since trimacs are so hard to find, and most lfs sell FH's as trimacs. But this guy should be pure. I bought him on aquabid about 6 weeks ago from a guy who had originally bought 4 directly from jeff raps. He grew them out hoping for a pair, but got unlucky and got all males.

Yeah, I know about the only way to get a pure specimen of many species is to order from Jeff. There are a lot of species that are really hybrids in lfs, trimacs included. Yours definitely looks like a beautiful, pure trimac. congrats:D.
