oh and just for fun, I also got a pretty good shot of my Robertsoni. I got 4 more robertsoni juvies last thursday which hopefully one of them will pair up with this larger one.

btw, did I mention I also found eggs in my 75 gallon. the parents are a young pair of Honduran Red Fin convicts. I couldn't get a decent pic of these to post:(

 :rofl2:

I have to admit I find it kind of odd that all 3 of these decided to spawn at the same time. All I can say is the last time I did a water change I used Prime by Seachem instead of StressCoat. I decided to switch away from the stresscoat and last week was the first time using something different. Also, one day last week I fed all the cichlid tanks with soft n moist krill and I've been feeding them a more varied diet lately. A few weeks ago I received a $75 shipment from kensfish.com and it was all cichlid food. I got a total of 10 lbs. (1 lb each of 10 different types of food).

As for the fry, luckily I have 2 20 gallon standard tanks, a 20 gallon long if I move the convict pair out of there and a 10 gallon that is holding some crayfish. I'm already raising some convict fry in one of the 20 gallon tanks. the cons are basically being raised to be feeders, so I might have to feed them a little sooner than I planned.

ps. I forgot to mention...try Marvin Gaye:wink:  The fish just didn't seem to respond to Barry White.:ok:
