just wondering what you feel the best cichlid sites on the web are... any input is welcome.

A couple of source sites I keep returning to are

Cichlid Room Companion (http://www.cichlidae.com)

To those I’d also add
Cichlid Research Home Page (http://www.cichlidresearch.com)

There are many other decent sites, much of whose information is “inspired” by the contents of these three—which doesn’t necessarily make such compiled pages any less valuable, I suppose—but I think any “cichlid link” recommendation has to include this trio.

Though hardly strictly "cichlid" despite its name, The Krib (http://www.thekrib.com) is an aquaria source site and rich newsgroup archive I’ve enjoyed over the years.
