hello
i am new to this forum i will be starting a brand new cichlid tank i am debating if i should get a 72 gallon bow front or a 75 gallon tank which tank do you think would be better for the fish and why would you choose 1 tank over the other

The only real difference is cost and preference. I don't think there is any real benefit to the fish with a different tank shape. Assuming they are both glass.

After doing a little research, I found out that a bow front is actually stronger than a straight sheet of glass (surprisingly). I considered buying one, but when I found out that I could not reach the bottom/back with my stubby arms I changed my mind. Other than that, I see no down side. And, assuming you are talking about a standard 75 gal., a bow front will have more water surface area and that will support more fish. LOL.
