would you consider putting a 8 inch red devil,5 inch green terror, and a 3 inch convict?

If you only want one fish left, sure. :(

From what I've gathered, a 20gal is too small for the red devil by itself, probably too small for the solitary GT, but fine for the con.

I have a pair (hopefully, still young) of Convicts and a baby Texas in a 20gal atm, the larger con (only 2") harasses the hell out of the other two. I can't imagine what a 5" fish would do in there, let alone an 8"!

It would only end in dead fish I would think.

Edit: More than one thread on this topic huh? (http://cichlidforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6193)

I would not put any one of them in the tank even alone. The con could work but I still say 20 is too small.
