Mbuna Stocking?

What is the average stocking for a 55G Mbuna tank(with overstocking)! I have heard 16-18 average sized mbunas do well when you have more aggressive species present in the tank? Whats your input?

in my opinion, that will work, so long as you have a significant rockpile, lots of filtration and frequent(weekly) water changes.

Rocks are key. I have 90 Lbs of lace rock in my 90 gallon. And 25 malawi. I did have 30, but I just moved them to my new tank. Just make real sure the rock work is stable.

It is really intersting to see them pick their places and hold there ground. I noticed they were more agressive when I took rock out
