View Full Version : Is CaribSea Aragonite a good substrate?

I have never tried it before and was just curious if any of you have. I have a few questions: Approx. how much is needed to buffer a 100 gallon tank. Is it better as a substrate or in a filter set-up? Is there something better to buffer my tank with? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I mix aragonite into regular gravel. The only negative to using pure aragonite is that white substrates tend to fade the colors on Africans.
