Impossible to tell without knowledge of the lineage. Certainly Red Devil or Midas or both!
The snout looks more Devilish (!), but it may just be the angle of the photo.
i was told it was a Red Devil when i brought it, but since ReX Karr told me my other one was a hybrid im wondering if this one is as well.
i'll try to get another pic tonight

it looks more like a red devil to me than a midas but who knows im not a expert.

i dont know that i think about it it does looks a midas its hard to tell.
my other one looks more and more like a midas each day, this one is looking more devil now, i will try to update some more pics
Funny how whimpy this one is, so placid, its my mums fav, she calls it a "mango pip"

This is meant with the utmost respect - it is my opinion that if you have to ask, there is a strong likelyhood that its not a pure fish.
That's a female Red Devil for sure.

Unless you've been buying from someone like Jeff Rapps, I'd agree with spiny in that it's a mix of both Midas and Red Devil. I've got a Red Devil (of unknown lineage) that looks exactly like yours, just more orange-ish, so for the record we'll just call it a Red Devil.

I saw one yesterday that I had to use all restraint not to buy-it was so beautiful w/ the black...

looks alot like my red devil but mine isnt as good looking as yours mines just orange my dad calls him demo since he thought the rd looked like nemo somehow jeez
