planning to do the above. Anything i should take note of in terms of setup.

Used to do it on bare tanks buts wish to do something new.

Some species i plan to get.

.Archocentrus species, .Herichthys species, Nandopsis species, Cichlasoma species, Caquataia species.

Planning to get different type. preferably 2 of each. Issit a good combo?

How abt gravel and stuff? Planning to run this tank on 2 canister filter.

Any advise appreciated.

You need to be more specific about exactly which fish winthin each species group you are planning to get.

All but the Archocentrus types will outgrow the tank in a metter of months.

Used to have a mixed CA including blackbelts, hartwegi, syn, Chuco, Green Terror, archocetrus, argentea and Pearsei.

Total of 15 fishes abt 3 inch.

Pretty cool though. :)

Way too much for that size tank. Just my opinion.
