Worried...Jack Dempsy Sick

I had my Jack Dempsey, for years, but I have no clue what is going on with him. He doesn't eat, and it looks like there is blood in his eyes. :nervous: I can't seem to find online what is going on with him or how to cure it. :confused: My poor Jack....

Your Jack is an American, not an African, and I'm moving this to Cichlid Health.

Sorry no one has come up with an answer yet (weekends are slow here), I've never seen the blood in the eyes description before. When I don't know what else to do, I always change the water. It won't do any harm and sometimes it'll do some good if it's the water conditions causing the problem in the first place.

I'd skip feeding him for a day or two also, sometimes that extra hunger will stimulate their desire to eat.
